Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the JotGuru website and services ("Services"). JotGuru is a brand operated by DynaTax AI Inc. ("JotGuru", "we", "us"); our emails, contracts, and billing may come from the dynatax.ai domain. By using the Services you agree to these Terms.

1. What we offer

JotGuru provides a free production-readiness scan of AI-built applications and paid engineering services to finish, ship, and maintain them ("Finish Sprint", "Readiness Audit", "Tech Team Retainer"). Scan scores and ballpark figures are estimates, not guarantees; a firm quote is provided after human review.

2. Eligibility & your responsibilities

• You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding agreement.
• You confirm you have the right to share any repository, code, or materials you provide.
• You agree to provide accurate information and to use the Services lawfully.

3. Scans, quotes, and engagements

A free scan does not create an obligation on either side. Paid engagements are governed by the specific scope, price, and timeline agreed in writing (e.g. an order, proposal, or statement of work), which—together with these Terms—forms the agreement between us. Where there is a conflict, the written engagement terms control.

4. Payments

Paid Services are billed through Stripe. Fixed-price work is payable as set out in the engagement (deposits may apply). Retainers are recurring and may be cancelled as stated in the engagement. Unless required by law or stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable once work has begun.

5. Intellectual property

You retain ownership of your pre-existing code and materials. Unless agreed otherwise in writing, work product we create for you transfers to you upon full payment. We may use general knowledge, methods, and non-confidential learnings for future work.

6. Confidentiality

We treat your code and non-public information as confidential, access repositories read-only, and will sign an NDA on request.

7. Warranties & disclaimers

The Services and the website are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Scan results are informational and do not guarantee security, performance, or fitness for any purpose.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JotGuru is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid us for the engagement giving rise to the claim.

9. Termination

Either party may end an engagement as set out in the written engagement terms. We may suspend or terminate access to the website for misuse or breach of these Terms.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.

11. Governing law & contact
